จากความสามารถในการออกแบบที่ยอด เยี่ยมของ QisDesign จึงได้รับรางวัลในระดับนานาชาติมากมายนับตั้งแต่ก่อตั้งบริษัท ได้แก่ 15 รางวัลจาก Red Dot awards (เยอรมัน 2008 และ 2009), 4 รางวัลจาก G-Mark awards (Japan 2008) และ 5 รางวัลจาก iF awards (Germany 2009)

facebookBrand StoryBefore coming in contact with QisDesign, you might have already dispensed with the traditional notions of lighting, that “A lamp is just a light bulb with a shade”, or “A lamp is nothing more than a lighting tool”. Still, you might not be prepared for what you will find once you enter the world of QisDesign. You’ll be amazed that a lamp could be so meticulously designed, that “lamp shades” can come in such a wide variety of forms, and that LEDs can be so painstakingly integrated into the overall design as to be virtually invisible. In these and other ways, QisDesign is out to change the way that people think about decorative home lighting.
In 2009, QisDesign Electronics Manufacturing brought together its finest internal design and R&D talent to work on decorative lighting design, and QisDesign was born. Making the leap from electronics OEM to interior lighting design required not only compressive IT resources, but a large design team as well; both areas in which QisDesign excels. QisDesign was also drawn to the interior lighting market based on its expertise in LED technology, which is becoming increasingly popular due to its low energy use and reduced environmental impact. This expertise provides QisDesign with a solid foundation for growth in the decorative lighting industry.
What advantages does LED technology have for decorative interior lighting? Traditional tungsten lighting relies on heat to create light, making it very unsafe for fingers! LEDs eliminate this problem. Not only does LED technology not produce much heat, but it can be fitted with heat conducting systems to disperse heat and keep the lights cool to the touch. This allows designers to make LED products interactive, and combined with the small size of LED bulbs, allows for a wide variety of innovative designs, as epitomized by the Coral decorative lamp series.
As evidenced by the QisDesign motto “Illumination．Imagination: Imagine Another Possibility”, imagination is the key to everything we do. LED technology opens up possibilities not available in traditional lighting design, and QisDesign hopes to harness these new potentials (e.g. interactivity, shadow effects) in innovative new designs that stimulate the imagination. By doing this, QisDesign will also be building a truly unique brand.
At present, QisDesign markets it products primarily in Europe, and hopes to return to the Asian market after establishing a reputation for itself overseas, to help Asian households “Imagine Another Possibility”.
QisDesign was inspired by the light of the sea bottom and its immediate environment to create a new vision of interior design with LED lights that are energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
Debuting in 2008, QisDesign is staffed with talented and experienced experts in all critical areas of design. The multi-disciplinary teams encompass the complete spectrum of design: industrial design, graphic design, market research, user interface, mechanical design, computer-aided design and prototype production.
QisDesign’s excellent design capabilities have won it accolades of many international awards. Since its inception, the company has won 15 Red Dot awards (Germany 2008 and 2009), 4 G-Mark awards (Japan 2008), and 5 iF awards (Germany 2009).
